Teaming with Eugene. on nwk and Nuclear Winter (2024–2025), he explored growth, change, and its fallout, while insomniac² faced betrayal and depression head-on. Released in 2021, aashkaa is Dre.’s 24-track journey chronicling his re-transition from his rez roots back into the fast pace of city life. Blending stories of fatherhood, love’s trials, and the grind of his parallel career as an MLT, the album captures resilience, growth, and the rhythm of navigating two worlds.
Between 2024 and 2025, Dre. and Eugene. released nwk and Nuclear Winter, a two-part chronicle of transformation and resilience. nwk (niggas with knowledge) captured the spark of newfound knowledge and growth, while Nuclear Winter reflected the harsher fallout of striving for a better life. Together, the albums chart their journey through self-discovery, the weight of change, and the perseverance required to rise above challenges while breaking old cycles.
insomniac² and SACRILEGIOUS reveal two distinct but connected sides of Dre.’s journey. insomniac² dives into a dark chapter marked by death, betrayal, and depression—yet also the spark of reinvention and rediscovery of self. In contrast, SACRILEGIOUS, created with Eugene., extends the themes of nwk and Nuclear Winter, exploring the provocative idea of hoarding knowledge for personal gain.
